Alex Shelley, ex lottatore TNA che da anni, ormai, si divide tra Giappone e indies americane, ha subito un brutto infortunio durante Field Of Honor, evento della Ring Of Honor svoltosi a Brooklyn. Infatti, l'ex TNA e IWGP Jr. Tag Team Champion, tra gli altri riconoscimenti ottenuti, ha perso i due incisivi frontali a seguito di una forte ginocchiata in faccia sferrata da Mark Briscoe; la brutalità dell'accaduto ha spinto la famiglia del lottatore a suggerigli il ritiro, come ammesso dallo stesso Shelley su Twitter:
