Durante la diretta di Backlash France, la WWE ha annunciato otto match dedicati al First Round dei King & Queen of the Ring Tournament. Una prima parte, visto che altri match si svolgeranno a Smackdown, venerdì prossimo. Ed alcuni match-up hanno veramente del clamoroso.
Partendo dal Queen of the Ring, sono stati annunciati i primi quattro incontri, che vedranno protagonista anche Lyra Valkyria, al debutto in quel di Raw dopo il Draft da NXT. Mentre per quanto riguarda il King of the Ring spiccano sicuramente Ilja Dragunov vs Ricochet e GUNTHER vs Sheamus, i due incontri forse più attesi di lunedì notte. Toccherà anche ad uno dei favoriti insieme al Ring General, ovvero Drew McIntyre, che sfiderà Finn Balor in un vero e proprio derby.
