Come ampiamente riportato, Finn Balor è stato costretto a rendere vacante lo Universal Title, conquistato a SummerSlam contro Seth Rollins, a causa di un infortunio alla spalla.
Il nuovo campione sarà incoronato a Raw la prossima settimana in un Fatal 4 Way che vedrà coinvolti Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Kevin Owens e Big Cass.
Secondo il wrestling Observer, la WWE aveva pianificato un match fra Balor e Kevin Owens a Clash Of Champions, PPV di Raw che si terrà il 25 Settembre. Tale match avrebbe dovuto portare, sempre secondo l’Observer, ad un match ad Hell In Cell, evento che si terrà ad ottobre, fra Balor, Owens e Chris Jericho.
