La 5 Star Wrestling ha deciso di chiude le proprie porte e cessare la propria organizzazione. La notizia era nell’aria da qualche giorno, da quando il proprietario Dan Hinkles ha iniziato a cancellare le date già previste per Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham e Aberdeen.
La 5 Star Wrestling è quella promotion che lo scorso anno offrì un milione di euro a CM Punk per presenziare in un suo show e successivamente aveva deciso di creare un torneo a 128 uomini. Nonostante le buone intenzioni, gli eventi hanno generato poco profitto e poche vendite, e così Hinkles ha deciso di chiudere. Qui sotto la dichiarazione:
